Classics: Embellished Pumps
When I saw these, I immediately thought of those fabulous blue satin Manolo pumps that Carrie rocked in the Sex & the City movie. The thing I really like about this pair, is that no one will think you are rocking a knock-off Manolo like some other identical versions, this pump is unique & stylish. I purchased these myself - and let me say they look even better in person. Skip the $895 Manolo price tag and snatch these Tahari heels for under $100! They look amazing with skinny jeans for a casual outfit, and you can also pair them with a voluminous cocktail dress for a chic, expensive look!

The Stylist: Christy from NOLA
Meet Christy, author of Slow Southern Style, a fashion blog based out of New Orleans. Christy wrote to the Stylist looking for ideas on dressing for her body type, which she described:
"I have really solid legs thanks to biking 4.5 miles a day...I'm petite but not small. I carry all my weight in the middle...bulky sweaters are the bane of my existence."
She also described her taste in fashion:
"I like simple things that pack a punch. I like to wear color."
Alright Christy, I think I have just the thing for you! 2 outfits, one with bold colors and the other with bold accessories & design, both pack a punch and show off those hot legs of yours! Enjoy & thanks for writing in!!!

Trends: Boyfriend Boots
It's that time in fashion again, to steal your boyfriend's grungy style. This season? Steal his boots. The grungier the better...just don't pair with flannel (it's not 1991 anymore). They look great with floral dresses or skinnies. Add a feminine element to your outfit, otherwise you may start to look just a tad bit goth (and let's be honest, that's just not chic). Here are some of my favorites for these season:
2. Steve Madden "Perrin" Tall Lace-Up Military Boot ($199)
3. Coach Adelaide Boot ($223.50 on sale)
4. Born Shoes, Skylark Boots ($131.25 on sale)
