From the Author: Favorite Photoshopped Pics

Photoshopping is lots of fun...as we all know. Adding effects to give a photo an emotion, like anger, melancholy or happiness, can be an entertaining challenge. What do I like to add? Drama. These are some of my favorite photos of myself that I have photoshopped around with. What is your favorite effect to use in making pictures more dramatic?

I would like to start off by saying thank you to the dress gods for blessing us all with this Robbie Bee Beaded Tiered Dress. The easy sexiness of this chic LBD will cause you to accidentally seduce & ensue swoons from anyone you pass by. This delicious piece is only $98, and an extremely versatile addition to  any closet!

The Details: Floral Prints & Lace

I'm loving the lace trend that is popping up everywhere. So when I found this Tucker for Target printed tunic on the clearance rack, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it: throw it over my lace dress & play peek-a-boo with the sleeves! Paired it with a chunky Moroccan style necklace from Urban Outfitters and brown riding boots. So tell me reader, what do ya think?

The Stylist: A Chic Dress for Thanksgiving Dinner

This is the first post in a new series called "The Stylist." Need advice on what to wear? Send in your query & specifics, and we'll post our advice here! Send submissions to chiccurve@gmail.com

Jessie Writes: "Hello! I'm hitting the 6 months mark with my boyfriend & he has invited me to fly to New York City with him & have Thanksgiving dinner with his family! While I'm very excited he wants me to come along, I have NO IDEA what to wear. His family are all very stylish & well-off, and I don't want to seem out of place. Can you help me find a chic dress that flatters my curves & doesn't break my bank account? Thanks!"

Jessie! Thanks for writing in. I have come up with some very stylish options that look much more expensive than they really are. When you are at dinner looking fabulous, remember to start with the outer fork first...or wait...the inner...oh never mind. Just be yourself!
